New Sway Bar Link Set from 1AAuto.com https://trq.video/ib-1ASSP00614
This video shows you how to install new TRQ sway bar links on your 2007-2013 Chevy Silverado 1500. Sway bar links connect the sway bar (stabilizer bar) to other suspension components. They have a movable joint that can be damaged or wear out over time. When that happens, the joints get loose, and rattle.
This repair was done on a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ 5.3L Extended Cab Pickup 4-Door 4WD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

He says 15 mm socket first, then says 14mm socket, so which is it
I just cut my old ones. They were pretty rusted
Just looked at mine today and they;re both so loose they flop around. Guess I’ll be doing this next.
Didn’t take the wheel off, just turned the wheel into the truck and was able to get my long arms in there I had a jack on the sway bar to get the new bolt in Much appreciate the easy install Chevy
Did you need to raise up the whole front of the truck?

Something I didn’t see mentioned (not sure if it is just unique for my vehicle). Once one side is torqued down the sway bar to lower suspension spacing on the other side is now reduced. For me the link assembly could not be installed. I had to go to the other side and loosen it up. So for anyone reading, get both nuts started before torquing down.
Straight to the point, nice work
Impacts the sway bar link then torqus it down to 17 ft lbs😂
Think it was torqued to 17 ft lbs about 1 sec into that Impacts drilling.
15mm for removal and 14mm for reinstalling?
No rubber boot on new one?
Don’t understand why replace still good oem parts for cheap quality China junk
