Do not waste your money with any chip or flashing the ECU if you want to save fuel.
It’s simply impossible to have more power and save fuel at the same time, physics don’t lie.
Yes, chip and ECU flashing will definitely increase power and while drastically increasing wear and tear on the engine and the entire drivetrain causing precoce/premature failures.
Just Google it.
Diesel are much nicer to drive, no need to Rev past 2k in most scenarios

I work on diesel trucks for a living and all the newer trucks have intake throttle body’s off the charge pipe? He said diesels do not?

is 10ppm diesel damaging to injectors? My 2015 duster just needed all 4 injectors replaced and nobody can tell me why? A Bosch technician said 10ppm has too much parrafin and not enough sulphur and actually destroys the injectors…..how true is this?

Why cant modern diesel engines run on Vegetable oil?
Wasn’t expecting the pleasant introduction.
My last car was a petrol 5.7L LS1 V8, but as I travel and tow alot for work, I now have a 4 cylinder 2.5L Turbo deisel. First thing I noticed was the lag and the knocking sound. Although diesel has much better fuel economy when towing, I miss the instant power and the purr of the V8.
I would like to make a small correction 11 years later some diesel engines do infact have throttle bodys, and example would be the 1kz-te found on jdm surfs (4runners) and hiluxs
Everything but how to get used diesel engine oil drip stains out of concrete. Anybody have a remover recipe?

don’t modify anything the factory defaults are the best. if u need more power buy a bigger engine. it’s darn simple… it’s like overclocking a GPU..performance difference is bare minimum compared to the void warranty and engine damage

I own a 2005 diesel ram 2500 and have broken more studs with that vehicle then any other. The specs say to torch to 140 but they break at that spec, so I can only torq to 130. Are there any options for me?

Heya there I’m is from Australia and I got a 1985 Nissan 720 SD25 diesel engine as I doing a full engine rebuild and can I do a port job on the head to get more flow and power without a turbo ?
Also, you can run a diesel engine on heating oil. They are the same, heating oil is just dyed red, because it is not taxed like diesel fuel, and if a living cop identifies you, catches & reports you with red fuel in your tank, its a big fine. But if you’re an anarchist sick of the government’s BS, you just don’t care, or you’re in a desperate situation. Then heating oil is always an option.
