  1. I can’t take an American serious when they talk about European trucks…. for lots of reasons. And the lift axle doesnt "rotate", it lifts. That’s why it’s called a "lift" axle

  2. You are definitively wrong about 6×2. I put over 100k miles on a Peterbilt 6×2 in the USA. The tandem axles are rated in combination for 35k lbs just like on a 6X4. Generally a 6×2 are fine in normal highway conditions in good weather. The problem with 6×2 lies in driving over any kind of uneven surface and/or in poor weather conditions where they are not good. The worst configuration is where the 2nd axle is the driven axle and the 3rd axle is fixed (not a lowerable tag). In this configuration the drive axle can become bridged between the front and rear axles effectively immobilizing the truck with no or little contact between the 2nd axle and the pavement.

  3. What do yo call a axle that is a 10 wheeler but is 1& 1 at the back?

  4. we Indians use 4×4, 6×4, 8×4 and 10×4 trucks. the Tata SE 1613 Turbo comes with 4×4, which makes it a capable truck for off roading, and the Tata LPK 2518 Tipper comes with 6×4, which is helpful for construction segment. we also have Volvo FM 420 Tractor with 4×2 Axle Configuration, which is used only by Delhivery, which is an Indian E-Commerce Company. The Volvo FMX 420 is used for mining, which comes with 8×4 Axle Configuration.

  5. Here in europe 🇪🇺 the 8×4-4 layed out in 2 wheels in the front that turn and 2 in the back for the power only in dump trucks

  6. "4×2 means there is four wheels and two are powered" are you kidding me? those are six wheels, four of which are powered. this wording sounds like when, with their bicycle, someone has a puncture and requires a new rim, or wheel, or tire, instead of a tube. i’d describe 4×2 wether as four SETS of wheels or as 2×1 because two axles, one of which motorized. this is weird.

  7. Ahh that it axle is 4×2 two powered is the move next 6×2 or 6×2 asterisk and slash two because is call asterisk that 🧐

  8. I have a 6 by 2 I would like a construction site and I’m only 10 years old who’s with me guys I started yesterday🎉🎉🎉🎉

  9. Interesting. The closest I get to truck driving is Euro Truck Simulator 2 where I use a Scania 6×4 (Long Chassis). One thing I get confused about is axel weights/how they are calculated etc. Might be worth a video?

  10. The 10 x 6 configuration is commonly used in the West Australian and Northern Territory mines for road train haulage as it provides twin steers on the truck coupled with three driving axles for maximum traction
